Fort Phantom Lake Loop
November 28, 2008
Wes and I had a little bit of spare time Friday afternoon, so we decided to loop the lake north of Abilene.
The pace was mild, and we decided to ride further east towards the wind turbines that have popped up in this area recently. We saw foxes, hawks and deer on the ride, along with horses, cows, goats, donkeys, etc. Quite a safari.

The temperature was dropping quickly, so Wes added another layer. When we were stopped out of town, first thing he mentioned was how quiet it was. |
